This webinar for career development professionals provides practical guidance on supporting clients who may have experienced trauma, whether from personal, systemic, or workplace-related events.
The session begins by helping participants understand what trauma is, how it manifests in behaviour and communication, and how to recognize potential signs without requiring disclosure. It then explores strategies for creating psychologically safe and inclusive environments where clients feel respected, heard, and empowered. Participants learn how to avoid re-traumatization by being mindful of language, boundaries, and potential triggers in the career development process.
